The TNPL, which was first played in 2016, has developed into Tamil Nadu’s top Twenty20 cricket league. Tirunelveli will host the opening match of the TNPL 2022 league stage before the action moves to Dindigul, Coimbatore, and Salem. The finals will be played at SNR College Cricket Ground in Coimbatore, while the season opener will take place at Indian Cement Company Ground in Tirunalveli.
