Thousands of Dawoodi Bohras in Surat pay tribute to the victims of the Morbi bridge collapse



Surat: Tens of thousands of Dawoodi Bohra community members from India and abroad paid tribute to the victims of the bridge collapse in Gujarat’s Morbi town. The community members observed two minutes of silence to pay homage to the victims.

Thousands of Dawoodi Bohra members from all parts of the world have congregated in Surat for their annual educational seminar known as ‘Istifada Illmiyah’. The seminar is being conducted in the presence of the head of the Dawoodi Bohra community his holiness Syedna Mufaddal Saifuddin.

Before the start of their seminar sessions, members expressed their deepest condolences and sympathy to the families of the deceased and also prayed for a speedy recovery of those injured in the incident.
