CM Bhupendra Patel and cabinet ministers including Purnesh Modi, Harsh Sanghavi, Vinu Moradia, Mukesh Patel etc. will remain present on the inaugural day of the Carats\u2014Surat Diamond Expo to be held at Avadh Utopia on the Surat-Dumas Road on July 15. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n A delegation of Surat Diamond Association (SDA) led by its president Nanu Vekariya visited Gandhinagar on Tuesday for giving personal invitation to the cabinet ministers and CM Bhupendra Patel. The delegation members met Gujarat CM and urged him to remain present on the inaugural day of the Carat\u2014Surat Diamond Expo on July 15. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n Nanu Vekariya, president of SDA said, \u201cGujarat CM Bhupendra Patel and other cabinet and state ministers have given their consent to remain present at the Carat\u2014Surat Diamond Expo on July 15. After the two successful editions, this is the third edition where the loose diamonds, lab-grown diamonds etc will be exhibited for the buyers from India and abroad\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n The B2B exhibition will be providing an exclusive platform for the Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) to showcase loose natural diamonds, lab-grown diamonds along with jewellery and machinery to the buyers and connoisseurs from India and throughout the world and taking their businesses to new heights. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n Following the tremendous success of the past two Carats exhibitions in 2018 and 2019, this year’s Carats exhibition will increase B2B transactions through networking between small and large firms and reinforce Surat\u2019s status as the hub for diamond trading in the international market. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n This platform will provide small and medium-sized diamantaires with enough opportunity to engage with new buyers of natural loose diamonds and diamonds such as rose-cut, polki, natural fancy-colored, etc.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n Over 150 exhibitors will be participating in the Carats exhibition, which is spread over 50,000 square feet at Club Avadh Utopia. There will be 42 premium booths and about 98 normal booths for showcasing loose diamonds, lab-grown diamonds, fancy diamonds, and machinery. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n Gourav Sethi, convenor of the Carats\u2014Surat Diamond Expo, stated, “We have planned roadshows to promote the Carats exhibition in over 40 locations across India, as well as targeting buyers from the United States, London, Dubai, and Hong Kong.” Recently, we organised a roadshow in Ahmedabad and Jaipur to promote the Carats exhibition.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n Sethi informed that SDA\u2019s treasurer, Mohan Vekariya is visiting Las Vegas in the U.S for the promotion of the Carats exhibition among the leading jewellery retailers. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n \u201cWe will be providing complimentary hotel accommodation to the privileged buyers visiting Carats\u2014Surat Diamond Expo in July.
