The Valsad administration has taken the help of the Daman Coast Guard helicopters to rescue the victims from the flood-affected villages. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size:11pt\"><span style=\"font-family:Calibri,&quot;sans-serif&quot;\">Over dozens of victims stuck in the flood waters were rescued by the Daman Coast Guard from the affected villages on Monday. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size:11pt\"><span style=\"font-family:Calibri,&quot;sans-serif&quot;\">The Valsad administration is unable to establish contact with the Bhagdakhud village in Valsad as the flood waters gushed into the village due to the rising water levels in the Ambika river. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size:11pt\"><span style=\"font-family:Calibri,&quot;sans-serif&quot;\">Sources said the Daman Ganga river in Vapi is flowing at a dangerous mark due to heavy rains in its catchment areas including Dangs. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size:11pt\"><span style=\"font-family:Calibri,&quot;sans-serif&quot;\">Meanwhile, Gujarat BJP President CR Paatil has ordered the BJP members in every district, city, and village to help in the rescue operation and distribute food packets. \u00a0Paatil tweeted, \u201cGujarat is pounded with heavy to very heavy rains, and many districts in the State are facing a flood-like situation. I urge every BJP member and leader to remain in the field and help the victims in their respective areas.
