Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India], April 7:<\/strong> <\/span>The three-day\u00a0AAPCON 2025 Ayurveda Parv<\/strong>, which also marked the\u00a05th International and 14th National Conference of the Association of Ayurvedic Practitioners (AAP)<\/strong>, concluded on a successful note at TajLands End, Mumbai. Organized in collaboration with the\u00a0Ministry of Ayush<\/strong>, Government of India, the conference was themed\u00a0\u201cAyurveda: Bridge to the World\u201d<\/strong>, highlighting Ayurveda\u2019s expanding global relevance in the modern healthcare ecosystem.<\/p>\n

The event was graced by distinguished dignitaries including\u00a0Padma Shri Vaidya Rajesh Kotecha<\/strong>, Secretary, Ministry of Ayush;\u00a0Dr. Nilesh Doshi<\/strong>, Founder-Chairman, AAP;\u00a0Dr. Dilip Trivedi<\/strong>, Co-Convenor and President, AAP;\u00a0Dr. Deepak Rasal<\/strong>,\u00a0Dr. Ashutosh Gupta<\/strong>,\u00a0Dr. Milind Nikumbh<\/strong>, and\u00a0Vaidya Rakesh Sharma<\/strong>, among others. Ayurvedic practitioners and researchers from across India and abroad actively participated in rich exchanges of knowledge, research, innovation, and clinical expertise.<\/p>\n

The occasion also marked the\u00a033rd Foundation Day of AAP<\/strong>. According to Dr. Nilesh Doshi, the celebration was structured around three key pillars \u2014 an Expo, a Free Public Health Camp, and Scientific Sessions. The Health Camp provided free Ayurveda-based consultations and treatments to the general public, while the scientific sessions explored complex disease management through Ayurveda, addressing areas such as cardiology, nephrology, and surgical interventions. Over\u00a060 leading experts<\/strong>\u00a0shared insights aimed at equipping practitioners with actionable clinical knowledge to improve patient outcomes. Dr. Doshi expressed confidence that such initiatives would further enhance public trust in Ayurveda and strengthen its position as an effective healthcare system both in India and globally.<\/p>\n

Speaking on behalf of the Ministry of Ayush,\u00a0Padma Shri Vaidya Rajesh Kotecha<\/strong>\u00a0emphasized the Ministry\u2019s commitment to taking traditional systems of medicine to every individual across the world. He referenced a third-party survey by the\u00a0National Sample Survey Office (NSSO)<\/strong>, revealing that\u00a095% of India\u2019s rural<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a096% of its urban population<\/strong>\u00a0are aware of Ayurveda, with\u00a0nearly 50% actively practicing it<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 a powerful testament to Ayurveda\u2019s growing credibility.<\/p>\n

He also shared a remarkable statistic: in the past\u00a010 years<\/strong>, more than\u00a09,500 research papers<\/strong>\u00a0have been published in the field of Ayurveda, surpassing the total from the previous six decades. This surge reflects the scientific community\u2019s increasing focus on\u00a0evidence-based Ayurveda<\/strong>. The Ministry has set a target to grow the\u00a0Ayush sector from its current size of $48\u201350 billion to $200 billion by 2030<\/strong>, with research, public trust, and global integration as key pillars of this expansion.<\/p>\n

Vaidya Kotecha highlighted flagship initiatives such as\u00a0Ayurveda Day<\/strong>\u00a0and the\u00a0Har Ghar Ayurveda<\/strong>\u00a0campaign, aimed at integrating Ayurveda into daily life through education, outreach, and scientific validation. These steps are vital to not only preserving Ayurveda\u2019s legacy but also positioning it as a\u00a0globally respected wellness science<\/strong>\u00a0supported by modern evidence.<\/p>\n

Looking ahead to the\u00a0International Day of Yoga<\/strong>, he announced upcoming Ministry initiatives including\u00a010 signature events<\/strong>\u00a0across India. A key highlight is\u00a0Yoga Bandhan<\/strong>, a cultural and yogic exchange involving five Indian yoga experts visiting ten countries and five international experts visiting India. Other initiatives include the\u00a0Yoga Mahakumbh<\/strong>\u00a0and the development of\u00a01,000 dedicated yoga parks<\/strong>\u00a0across India. These efforts align with the global campaign\u00a0\u201cYoga for One Earth, One Health\u201d<\/strong>, promoting public health through the integration of Yoga and other Ayush systems.<\/p>\n

AAPCON 2025<\/strong>\u00a0also featured a vibrant\u00a0Exhibition Pavilion<\/strong>, where top Ayurvedic companies from India and abroad showcased cutting-edge products, services, and research. With a\u00a0daily footfall of over 1,000 visitors<\/strong>, the event offered enriching platforms for seminars, panel discussions, live workshops, and focused sessions on Ayurveda\u2019s role in modern health challenges. Topics ranged from\u00a0digital healthcare marketing<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0corporate hospital collaborations<\/strong>\u00a0to\u00a0international career opportunities<\/strong>\u00a0for Ayurveda professionals \u2013 ensuring that both seasoned practitioners and young researchers benefited from the knowledge exchange.<\/p>\n

In his special address,\u00a0Dr. Nilesh Doshi<\/strong>, Founder-Chairman of AAP, remarked:<\/p>\n
