This is the second death sentence handed down by a Surat court under the POSCO Act in the last ten days.<\/p>\n<p>The judgment was announced on Thursday after the city police filed the charge sheet in a record time of 13 days and ordered the compensation of Rs 15 lakh to the victim\u2019s family.<\/p>\n<p>According to the case history, the accused enticed the unfortunate minor girl with a vada pav while she was playing near her house in Premnagar slums in Pandesara on December 7, 2020. The accused kidnapped the minor girl and took her to a deserted location in Udhana\u2019s Laxminarayan Industrial Estate at BRC.<\/p>\n<p>The accused raped the minor girl and when she bite his fingers, the accused brutally killed her with the brick several times on her head and escaped from the spot.<\/p>\n<p>The post mortem of the minor girl at the New Civil Hospital (NCH) showed about 47 injury marks on her body and rape.<\/p>\n<p>A public prosecutor, Nayan Sukhadwala, stated that a porn video was recovered from the accused\u2019s mobile phone.
